Our synagogue has, unfortunately, become a victim of modern times.  We no longer have services, and our cherished assets (torahs, memorial tablets, siddurs and machzors) have been placed with other, active synagogues, hopefully to continue to serve those congregations and preserve the memory of our little shul.

This website will attempt to honor the memories of the congregation that began in the late 1800s in a small, rural town that, for reasons not yet discovered, was a center of Jewish immigration and life on the DelMarVa Peninsula (the "Eastern Shore", as it is known to residents of the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S.).

Please browse our website, and feel welcome to contact us with comments, additions or corrections regarding the information on the website.  If you have historical family connections to Pocomoke City, please send us any information you have relevant to your ancestors who were likely part of the Jewish community there.

        Shalom.
